Clingy baby

Does anyone else have a very very clingy breastfed baby! He is obsessed with me and will only want me if I’m in the room and someone else is holding him. I’m currently doing a few KIT days whilst I work upstairs and he’s very whiny and I’m having to feed him at various points throughout the day and I’m putting him down for his naps but he is protesting so much at sleep time, screaming and screaming which he rarely does. Is this because he hasn’t seen me hardly and he just isn’t used to the change? I go back to work in august and he’s going to nursery so this doesn’t bode well 🤣
