Do you bleed with a sweep if it’s successful or unsuccessful or is the spotting a sign it has worked?

Unfortunately not I bled with mine but I’m on my second day and not in labour xx
I bleed stopped the same day, I have been having frequent cramping they think it’s early labour had my sweep on Tuesday xx
I have bled a bit on my second one, had some bad period like cramps and then had another one today, the cervix is all soft now and Ive dilated a further 1cm, so it's helped a bit, scheduled for another one on Sunday if he's not arrived by then x
I had an unsuccessful sweep earlier but she managed to massage the cervix and now I’ve got cramping I was wondering if this was normal
