How long does your baby sleep

My baby is 5 and half months old and has been sleeping 8 hours at a time during the night(her dad would feed her before work then I would feed her when I got up.) We just started trying to let her go through the whole night without a bottle in the early morning. So she sleeps 10-11 hours at a time. We looked it up and that’s what we read however the past two mornings she’s been sleeping closer to 12 hours. I’m not sure if it’s a growth spurt or just really enjoys sleeping. How long does your little one sleep through the night?

Bedtime is 7pm in our house so he's in crib by 730-8 at the latest. Since transitioning from his crib he only wakes up once and it's usually around 3-4am for a bottle and he's back down until 730-8

@Kathleen pretty much same for mine except lately wake up time has been closer to 6am

My baby is 5 and a half months and sleeps from 7:30 pm until 6:30/7 am. She’s been sleeping like that for almost two months. Except for 2 weeks of the sleep regression.

My baby has been sleeping 12 hours straight since 2 months old

Wow reading everyones comments in definitely doing something wrong my baby is 5.5 months and she is up each 2 hours tops 3. She was sleeping good 5 - 6 hours then the 4 months regression arrived and since then she never sleeps good again. Can someone please give me some advice, do you have any routine or how you do it ?

@Steph we implemented a routine back when he was a month old to help him learn it was time to wind down. It consists of diaper change, lotion, pj's and sleep sack. Then story, bottle and rock to sleep. Can I ask where your baby is sleeping? Because he was in the bedside bassinet and he was getting up every 2-3 hours. I learned that we were waking each other up. I moved him in his crib in his room. Significantly better. Plus he's a very active sleeper and being in the crib allows him to move around and get comfortable unlike the bassinet.

@Steph I started a bed time routine when she was 2 months old: bath time, pjs, breastfeeding, story then rock her to sleep. We moved her to her own room at 4 months old.

@Steph My son is 6 months old and sleeps about 10-11 hours through the night. He takes a morning nap at 9am for one hour and an afternoon nap at 1pm for 2 hours totaling 3 hours of nap time through the day. I used to co sleep and nurse my son to sleep but once I started sleep training we stopped. We feed him 4 times a day, 4 hours a part, 6 ounces each time (EX: 7am, 11am, 3pm, 6:45pm right before bed around 7pm). This helps him get in all his calories through the day and also drink every bottle with feedings being 4 hours apart. We also keep him up after his last feed until it’s time for him to go to sleep which also helps him stay sleep through the night. I got these training tips from a book called 12 hours by 12 weeks and it’s worked so well for me!! I hope this helps!

Thank you everyone. I was just concerned she was sleeping too much and not eating enough since she no longer eats during the but it seems like it’s normal for her to be sleeping 10-12 hours
