Am I overthinking this comment from MIL

Mother in law speaks her mind which I guess can be a good and bad thing, but she made a comment that got me in my head. When we first got engaged the day after she mentioned to me without my fiance present that he changes his mind often and is very indecisive and has a hard time committing to the decisions that he makes. She’s often throughout our relationship questioned what we have in common. Etc.. She’s even said “ he must really love you because he is usually really picky about things” Am in my head about this? Am I overthinking it?
