Silly question below 🤦🏼‍♀️⬇️

Can cheese cause an eczema flare up without having an allergy to dairy? So my little boy looks like he’s about to flare up again but all he’s had today is a cauliflower cheese jar thing (only allergens being cheese/milk) but he doesn’t flare up when he drinks his formula. He had a flare up a few weeks back after eating something with cheese in but I put it down to the tomato and now I’m kinda unsure. I know this probably sounds stupid as hell but mama battling eczema here trying to work out what I need to eliminate 🤷🏼‍♀️😭 Thank you

I've had eczema all my life, and if I have too much dairy, it does cause flare-ups. Might be an idea to keep a food diary and see if it's just cheese or other dairy products as well.. formula might be different x

@CE thank you! Will definitely add that to it. I have a photo album on my phone of things that have caused a reaction 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thanks! X

I believe formula and regular dairy have different components, so maybe it's a specific protein or thing in cheese? Or if it's new it could just be a minor flare up. When my son was young he would have a reaction to nearly every new food. If we didn't give it for a few days then tried again he was fine 🤷‍♀️
