Sertaline / Zoloft

I was on these before I was put on something stronger and I didn't notice anything diffrent when I smoked personally

I didn't notice any changes but that doesn't mean you won't.

I smoke and take antidepressants and a mood stabilizer. I don't notice a difference. I only notice a difference with my ADHD meds.

When I was on meds before I too would smoke and I had no issues I feel it helped me wanna eat I do hope you feel better soon 💙🩷🩵

I take Zoloft and smoke too and never noticed any difference I think a lot of it is if you don’t smoke and start them meds and find your like perfect dose then start smoking it can mess with it. But if you smoke while finding the dose you need I think that’s where you might have less issues

do the antidepressants help with moods swings ? Overthinking? Bad thoughts? Less irritable ? Ty xx

I personally don’t think that Zoloft helps with over thinking,mood swings or bad thoughts. (Some of Those symptoms for me are in relation to my OCD) but it can be different for every person. I’m on Zoloft due to pregnancy but when I’m not pregnant I’m switch back to Prozac which for me helped with those symptoms and helped curve my OCD (over thinking, constantly thinking and repeating the same thing over and over and other ocd symptoms)

@Libby what stronger were you switched to if you don’t mine me asking? I moved to Wellbutrin but it seems to not be working

I’ve been on Zoloft/ Sertraline for years and smoking hasn’t affected the medication. It helped me be less irritable and helped with my OCD and PTSD. But as long as you take the medicine at the time you are supposed to you’ll be okay

I'm on these now, and when I smoke I feel a bit lighter like a bit of the world was lifted off my shoulders. But it's different for everyone same for telling your Dr it depends on what state your in depending on the laws your state has for Marijuana
