Hi, you can give them fruit as soon as they are 6 months and showing all the signs of readiness for weaning but I know lots of people, including myself, like to give vegetables/savoury food first before fruit so baby doesn’t favour sweet foods.
It’s up to you how many times you feed baby a day. The idea is to be at 3 meals and 2 snacks a day by the time they are 1 but it does not really matter how you work up to this point. I started with 1 meal a day to ease myself and baby into weaning. I started with dinner but again it doesn’t matter what meal you start with.
