Carpet friction burn crawling

My girl is obviously wearing a lot of short clothes with it being warmer weather. We have carpet. She crawls. I've noticed the last couple of days her knees are quite red, presumably from the friction against the carpet so much (she's constantly on the move). I have a playmat in her pen but she prefers to be out of it now, exploring the house. It doesn't seem to bother her. Is there anything I can or should do to prevent it getting any worse, or do I just leave it be?

In exactly the same boat. Even when she wears leggings they're still getting friction burn. I haven't found a solution yet

You can get baby knee pads but I’ve not tried them yet. My boy gets red and bruised knees from our hard floor so I keep him in his play pen most of the time

I got some baby knee pads which seems to work!

Health visitor suggested putting moisturizer on her knees, it has helped a little 😊

Struggling with the same thing! My little girl is normally just in her nappy when in the house as our house is unbelievably warm and she gets red knees from crawling on the carpet😬😢x

If baby isn't bothered then I'd try not to worry too much. My little boy has very sensitive skin and marks so easily but never seems bothered. We put oats in the bath (using an old pair of tights) and it clears up and soothes any skin redness really quickly. I just use normal porridge oats in the foot of an old pair of tights, about half a cup, then bin after the bath, rinse the tights and they're good to use the next day
