Owlet

It has its pros and cons. Tbh love it for when baby is sick and I’m paranoid but otherwise I often find it annoying or just plain forget about it. Would I buy it again probs not unless I had a medically complex baby.

I have a different brand of an sock monitor but I love mine. He uses it every night. I have a lot of anxiety and get paranoid so it really helps ease my peace of mind.

Personally I use it every night! It was a must for me to have item for me not only because it gives me peace of mind (especially because my baby has been sleeping in his nursery alone since he was 4 weeks) but as a pediatric ICU Nurse I've seen several children get proper early care because of the owlet! ❤️

I started using it now for independent naps (we are on different floors of the house) in the crib and really like it for ease of mind!

I love mine not only do I love the heart rate and oxygen monitor, I use it to see when baby is in deep sleep so I can transfer her into her crib without fully waking her. I breast feed so she normally sleeps on me.

I’ve loved especially with bringing my baby home from the NICU it gave me a peace of mind when she sleeps

I prefer the nanit pro with breathing bands,sacks ! My did it help me tremendously as he slept ! Never needs to worry about charging or the radiation from the owlet

I found it most reassuring the first week or so home from the hospital, it allowed me to sleep instead of watching her breathing lol. We still use it nightly and now that her sleep is maturing at 3 months it’s interesting to see the difference in her deep sleep/light sleep and number of wakings.

I love love love mine. I used to check it obsessively but now that she’s a bit older, I trust it to let me know if something’s up. The only time the alarm went off (which it wasn’t the alarm) is when it unvelcroed when she moved a bunch and it couldn’t get a reading so it went off to alert of that and I went to fix it. Also, the alarm is different sounding than the alerts. The alarm is very loud and high pitched and urgent sounding but if it’s just too loose or the baby is moving around, it’s a lullaby so you don’t panic

I absolutely love mine, I use it all the time and love when it tells me how long she sleeps for and when she wakes up during the night plus it gives me some peace at night seeing her blood pressure and oxygen knowing that she’s okay when I’m not in the room

Have any of you had issues with the video freezing? I had it happen for the second time today where it froze on my baby sleeping when she was actually awake and crying :(

Yes, we’ve had the sound go out too when the internet goes out and had to buy a backup monitor 🙄
