I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. As a mama of mixed babies (black and white) this is my fear! I’m married to a white man and it’s sad to say that my “family” has been more racist towards him than the other way around.
I’ve seen this often too and it’s sad because no matter the color we Just Humans who love❤️‼️
@Rose Watson I am so sorry you were going through that sweetheart that is so wrong I believe everybody should be respected and treated like an equal I think this has to do with the way these kids are being parented and it's pretty sad. I have friends and family with different backgrounds that we treat respectfully that's how it should be and they do the same in return I just don't understand Georgia how can people be this way it's like they're trying to divide all of us when we should be all United and work together as adults and parents
I’ve lived in Georgia my whole life. Sadly it is. But also I think that stuff is everywhere unfortunately. Riverdale also isn’t the best area. I’m so sorry you’re going through that.
@Haley you see we didn't know this is how Riverdale was we were from out of state and we were looking for a house and everywhere we went was scams this was the first house that we found that wasn't a scam and we needed to take it because my husband was transferred out here and then when we got here it was a whole different scenario on how people acted I was in complete shock my children come home everyday from school extremely upset my husband is always pissed off because of the way he's treated with his job and I feel hurt because my toddlers have to see this
This is just how the world is now. It’s not just Ga. We moved from Az and had some pretty noticeable racist encounters. I would move the babies to a different school if you feel like the school they are in is failing them. I had to move my middle son to a different school because I didn’t like the environment and the mindset of the staff.
I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. We’re from south Florida and moved to Lawrenceville and it’s a big melting pot and we’ve been here for almost 2 years no issues whatsoever. We’re Hispanic and our neighbors are all something different! We love it here. You might have to consider moving somewhere new
@Jehiah wow that is so sad
Im noticing that the more “diverse” the more prejudice and judgment towards other demographics
I’ve lived in ga my whole life and a few places we’ve lived where it’s mainly black it’s racist to white but where it’s mainly white they’re not racist to blacks
@Kaylee Bingo!
@Kaylee yes I don't understand that how can that happen towards a mixed or a white person and it's normal but if it's the other way around it's a whole big issue I think everyone it just needs to show respect everyone needs to make money and live and go on with their life we all have enough stress and b******* in our life and now we have to deal with this s*** SMDH but to be honest I think it happens more often to all Races it doesn't matter if you're white, mixed , black Etc if there's a majority of one background they are going to mistreat the other but that's just my opinion
@Kaylee I don’t truly agree with you, because I live in a black community and I’ve seen people accept YT PEOPLE in the area very well some even come hang out and eat dinner at our tables . The problem comes when there is Yt People in black communities diminishing them by purposely feeling as if they will be treated unfairly before even attempting to validate the community .
@Rose Watson yes very true but it also is the other way around too I feel everybody deserves respect no matter what background you came from or where you even came from we all are just people that want to work hard and provide for our families

I agree
I haven’t noticed any in the town I’m in, but I lived in Brunswick and it was ROUGH
Georgia is racist. There is a Hwy 20, and it literally divides the metro area into sides. Generally, the south side of 20 is mostly black, and the north side has more white neighborhoods. There’s melting pot areas like Gwinnett and Marietta which have LOTS of immigrants (I’m from Gwinnett). We live in a super honky part of GA now, and my hubs is the only POC in our neighborhood. We are the only mixed family in most of the places we frequent. We get crazy looks all the time. I would move north if I were you.
@Reese This get them out of there. Kennesaw, Hiram and Marietta are decent areas
It definitely can still be prejudice, I’m from here and I’ve been called a jiggaboo and more . My kids have insured small kids saying they hate blacks so yes
