Wipes

I will be using reusable wipes/nappies after the cord falls, but until then what do people recommend? We currently use the Lidl own wipes with my toddler but I absolutely hate the packaging and the wipes are not that great. Should I get water wipes for the first few weeks or can I get something like Huggies pure? And other recommendations welcome for something nice and sensitive for those first few weeks.

If your not going to stick with wipes you could even use cotton balls and water if it’s just until the cord comes off x

@Megan I tried it with my first and it’s just a hassle, especially as I’ll be on the go quite a lot between my other 2. I just want to get a few packs to tie me over.

I always used the Asda extra sensitive wipes with my 2 and never had a problem with them x

We usually use Aldi extra sensitive but I hate the packaging of those too. I hate Huggies wipes, they just rip when you pull them out. This time we’re trying amazons wipes that you can bulk buy as I’ve heard a lot of good things about them so I guess we’ll see

We were planning on just using water wipes, then after speaking with the midwives that run my Aquanatal we have decided to use cotton wool (the big reels), and warm water when at home. Then just use the water wipes out and about 😊. Everyone seems to have different opinions though, so go with your gut 🥰.
