Negative ovulation tests

Hey hopefully someone can help or have had a similar experience. I stopped breastfeeding in December and periods came back in April but ovulation tests are negative (tested day 13 - 16 which is today), so I’m thinking I’m not ovulating… is this normal months after stopping BF?

Not breastfeeding but I've been tracking my ovulation since Feb and some months I ovulate on day 16/17 but I've had a couple where it's been around day 20/21 randomly. It could be that your cycle is still settling after returning
