Nappy recommendations

My little girl is almost 3 months old. We have been using Pampers Newborn Premium Protection since birth. Recently we are having leakages every time she poos. It comes out of the legs and back. I have tried the following: - Gone up a size, we are now using size 2 which is for 5-8kg - she is 6kg - Always make sure that the frills are out and the waste band is high and tight enough (not too tight obviously) - Ensure that clothes are not too tight so the nappy has space to expand. She is wearing 3-6 months size Despite all of this, there is a leak every single time she poos and it takes me a very long time to clean everything. Worth mentioning that she poos twice a week, so they are sizeable. However we didn't have this issue previously. Any advice on how to avoid this?

If you work out the secret please let me know 🤣 Our LO is nearly 3 months and we have tried loads of different brand, but pampers were the best even tho they still leaked. I’ve found that sometimes is the position they are in or if they wriggle that’s when we get leakage mainly. But overtimes it’s like ‘hey? Let’s have 4 outfit changes today’ 🙃🤦🏼‍♀️

Tell me about it. Today we were out and she ended up eith poo on her shoulder!!! She's 6kg and we are wearing size 3 morrisons own. Looking for recs. Do people rate the pampers?

I feel I've tried them all! Personally I like the Tesco ones but some people hate them 🤷🏼‍♀️ the Lidl ones imo are the worst they're just not tight around the back and it just goes everywhere 🫠

@Katie Pampers are leaking for us. We also used Asda for a short while - they didn't leak but left red marks on her legs so stopped using them

So mums from my antenatal group have recommended Peachies - they are VERY expensive (£70 for 168 nappies), but I am tempted to try them out of desperation. I do want try all the supermarket ones first so any recommendations will be gratefully received 🙏

Rascal & Friends from tesco seem to be the best I’ve tried atm

@Rubaba we’ve used pampers since birth and they work for us very well but peachies are the absolute best! I’m just not prepared to pay out so much for nappies!

You could try Pampers size 3 as she's 6kg.

Ocados own brand are really good ones I’ve found and I also like boots own too! Currently we are using aldi which have been okay too xx

Aldi nappies were the best ones for us, my LO also has sizable poos but never had a leak with them. I have been impressed with them and they are cheap also!

@Rachael thanks - can I ask if the Ocado ones have a wetness indicator?

We use Fred and Flo size 2. My boy is 5kg and fills his nappies up a hell of a lot when he poops. We haven’t had any poonamis but a couple of tiny poop marks down the size of the frill if he’s been wriggling about lots and lots. We’ve tried about 6 brands now and these have worked best X

@Rubaba they do! X https://www.ocado.com/products/ocado-kiddo-ultra-dry-nappies-size-2-3-6kg-585456011

It can very much be down to the position little one is in - the amount of times my LG has managed to poop all up the FRONT of her nappy (and subsequently her self!) is unreal 😂

Boots ones are fab or I really like the nutmeg ones from Morrisons. The mama bear ones from Amazon are also very highly recommended x

I second Ocado nappies! They do leak sometimes, no nappy is infallible. But they are good! M&S are good. Sainsbury's are good. Aldi are good. My LG always used Beaming baby and now uses Eco by Naty and Ocado pull ups. Shes got sensitive skin. Expensive little lady haha!! My little man however has used so many lol! Ocado and M&S mostly because that's where I get the shopping from. But I'd definitely recommend Sainsbury's own too.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations!

@Cheryl this did the trick!!! No more leaky poonamis - thank you 🙏 😊
