Baby acting different and a bit warm

My LO is 7 months and today’s he’s just been a bit off. He isn’t smiling and laughing as usual and is super cuddly. He feels a bit warm but his temp isn’t high enough to be a fever and he’s whimpering. I’ve never seen him like this ☹️ what could it be

Maybe call the GP tomorrow? I know it sounds silly, but we had the same last week, little one just wasn't right! Cuddly, sleepy, warm but no temp, he then ended up off his milk and solids, turns out he had a virus that had left him with a really sore throat and tonsils!
