I just got my NPIT results and it says low risk but 8.6% fetal fraction(s). Not sure what that means

That’s a good percentage. Mine is only 3.6 and able to determine low risk. Though I’m on blood thinners so feel that lowers my fetal fraction.

Fetal fraction is how much fetal DNA was in your blood at the time of the draw. The way I understand it, anything above 7% ff makes the test 99% accurate❤️
