Bump feels bruised

Yep! I often wake up with a bruised feeling . . . It’s almost like little one has moved back up and stretched out in my bump over night. Then once I’m up it seems to settle as he goes back down lower

mine makes me feel kinda raw inside like a bruise

Yeah this started with me last week at around 36 weeks too!

I could’ve wrote this myself! 34 weeks and my bump feels bruised when I turn over in bed😩🥲

Is it like a period pain feeling? That’s what I’ve been having . I’m so uncomfortable

Yeah I said to my husband this morning that my bump felt bruised. Feels fine again now.

@Claire No, it's so weird, it's like pressing ok a bruise but there's no bruise there! X

@claire I feel that too - my sister said that’s more likely to be Braxton hicks cause it’s the muscles contracting … I was like oh then I’ve had that for weeks already on and off😅

I’m 34 weeks today and have felt this this for a few weeks. When I went to my midwife last week I asked and she felt my belly and said my muscle under my belly button was starting to split! Maybe ask next time to check this isn’t happening for you too!

Yep I'm 35 weeks and have this my bump feels bruised at the top and I'm still carrying high haven't dropped yet

@Ashleigh my midwife said it will if I do exercises to help it once I’ve given birth x
