The little eyes wipes are great, use one per eye so you don't spread it. If it's bacterial you'll need drops to clear it up

@Steph how will I know if it’s bacterial?

Go to the chemist and get clorsig drops and some eye wipes - the little eyes ones or whatever. Wash your hands regularly.

Generally if they are sick and snotty it's probably viral but dr usually says wait a couple of days before starting drops but we've always just used them anyway. You can get drops from pharmacy without a prescription but you'll have to lie about who it's for as they don't give them to under 2s

I would take him to the doctor and get the right medication

I find it that ointment works better then drops, just apply before bed or while asleep and it's gone the next day, but you have to move the bottom lid down and apply inside the eye.

Chlorsig works a charm! We like the tube paste rather than the drops. You need a script for kids but it is over the counter for adults :)
