How to get dermabond out of hair??

A few weeks ago my youngest had a little accident, bumped his head, and had to get a little dermabond glue on his head by his pediatrician. His pediatrician said it looked great yesterday but didn't have much advice on how to get the glue off that's caked in his hair. 😩 How can I get it out without cutting his hair off? I'd cry if I had to cut it out 😭

I’m not sure about dermabond specifically, but I do hair extensions and for glued in extensions there are mixtures that are sold to remove them, but I was taught to make my own solution to remove glued in extensions. It’s a mixture of equal parts alcohol and acetone, plus a splash of baby oil and some essential oil to help the smell if you want. We use that and then some pliers so break up the glue and comb it right out without damaging any hair. Hope that’s helpful and that you and your babies are well. 🥰

@Brianna (Brie) I read online that you can use acetone but I'd be worried about using acetone on his head 😩 I might try just rubbing some baby oil on there and letting it sit, hopefully it'll help 😩 and thank you! He's doing much better!
