Farleys baby rusk it’s like a biscuit but I blend it and put it in his bottle ? We’re in the UK and he’s nearly 5 months x
Oh I've never heard of putting those in milk. Arent they just wheat or rice? Maybe you could try the oatmeal? Honestly tho, at 5 months its probably fine at this point.
You should never ever put anything in their bottles!!
Never ever in a bottle, mix it with his milk in a bowl by all means and spoon feed but never mix in a bottle X
Just put rusk in a bowl, add a little milk at a time until its a consistency that your baby can swallow using a spoon. Feed rusk then give the rest if the bottle X
Baby rice has no nutritional value and nothing should be added to bottles. I'm surprised the doctor suggested that cos the guidance in the UK is not to wean until approximately 6 months (when showing all signs of being ready) as that's when their body is ready for food.
Adding anything to bottle can be a choking risk so not recommended, although was typically done by past generations. Babies will often not be sleeping through at 5 months and that’s ok, they’ll get their own time. I’d be cautious of the rusks as I think they have sugar in them.
Yes I done this with my first born it filled him for longer x
I'm uk aswell maybe just an us thing lol
What is rusk??? How old is your baby? Waking at night is normal. If baby has reflux, then yes the rice or oatmeal helps. My baby has severe reflux so the thicker milk helps keep it in his tummy and keep him from having bad gas pain and spitting up in his sleep. We recently switched from rice to oats because the nutritional content is better and my milk is less fatty so I wanted him to get the extra nutrition too.
