Babies sick turning clothes pink

This is random but my babies sick is turning all of his clothes pink. Has anyone else had this issue? I have googled and says it’s a bacteria called serratia marcescens found in the gut but I’m not sure if this is something I should be going to the doctors about.

Hmmm is it possible you just washed it with another piece of clothing that was newer and pink/red?

No it’s definitely his sick that’s causing it as it’s the corners of his vests and bibs where he is sick!

Have you used suncream?

@Sarah wow I’ve never heard of that. Maybe it’s a reaction with the detergent. Probably wouldn’t hurt to call the doctor just for peace of mind

No it’s been happening for a fortnight and only started SPF last week xx

This might be unrelated but when I wash my daughters ‘blow out’ vests, the yellow marks turn bright green like I’ve put highlighter in that spot and I think it’s the 2 colours mixing together… What washing powder are you using?

Is he formula fed? Some of my bibs have gone the same but a little more orange like… x

Yessss ours go red!!

I think if they’re formula fed the sick stains the clothes strange colours, I’ve had a few pinky orange ones x

Hey! It was definitely his milk. He was on Nutramigen at the time because of a lactose intolerance and now he’s on Kendamil and it’s stopped xx
