People not responding?

I feel like I message first a lot, I haven't been on lately because nobody responds, or wants an actual conversation. I'm a homebody and intorvert but I'll at least keep a conversation going. Idk, I'm lost on how to make mom friends. Somebody add me to a iMessage gc so I can at least speak to people who respond😂

I would if I had iMessage! I've had a few where we've matched, I say hi and then get no response. It's like a useless version of mummy tinder at the moment haha.

me personally, i don’t always respond because i’m exhausted most of the time and then i forget that people even messaged me 😭

When I first started using peanut I mega put myself out of my comfort zone messaging people first, the first 4 people I messaged never responded. Everyone stops responding after a while. I think the problem might actually be that I respond too quickly.

I don’t even get that far. I’m old compared to everyone else and the last younger female friend I had turned out to be a terrible person 😂

My probably is I forget about the app. I usually offer to text once I find someone I enjoy chatting with.

I think it depends where mom’s are in their friendship journey. I experienced that a lot at first because I was so excited to be on the app and socialize, and I got a ton of no replies. I will admit I only made one good friend and connections via this app, and then she met someone else through her app. We introduced one another, met another mom at a fitness class and we became a group before mom to talk all the time and make an effort to hang out. I had more luck on Facebook putting myself out there in local mom groups. I will also admit that once I found my tribe, I became less active on the app, so now I’m that mom that likely doesn’t reply because I’m done socializing this moment. Also, some mom have too much of a chaotic life and want to make friends, but find that they struggle will actually make the time for it. So don’t take it personally it’s not you, it’s them.

I know for me the convos die down when we’re not in the same state. I think it kills the whole “bestie” thing if you never can envision meeting them in person.

It's so difficult! I understand busy, 10000% I'm a mom of two so I'm scattered all around all day. But when you have a good convo going and it just stops it's hard.
