For mamas who have had a c section due to baby size

How big has your baby been? Do you know the percentile they were in? For context, I have gestational diabetes and baby girl was measuring in the 82nd percentile at 28 weeks 😊 she’s also breech and I have an ā€œarcuateā€ uterus with a slight dip at the top.

I can’t remember what percentile my first was but she was 8lbs 5oz and I’m petite 5’1ā€.

I’m 33 weeks with my second and she’s in the 70th percentile and I’m scheduled at 39 weeks for another C-section.

No GD

3rd daughter - 100th percentile, born at 38 weeks, 9lbs 3. (Unmanaged GD)
4th daughter - 95th percentile, born 39 weeks - 8lbs 15 (managed GD)
For context, I'm 5'3 and size 6 (UK) my 1st & 2nd daughters were not GD pregnancies and were 6lbs.

I'm 5ft1 and originally they were concerned about babies head as was just over 90th % on scans, then dipped to 88th at 36 weeks so went for natural birth and induction. Head didn't engage so didn't go beyond 5cm dilated, xsection then happened. At birth his head was 66th % and the surgeon said he wasn't a little on by any stretch yet when weighed he was 7lbs10oz...they actually suggested weighing him again as everyone thought he looked 9lbs! 🤣 must have been water weight!

I was measuring at 90th percentile and he came out at 10lb11 so I'm not sure how accurate it is šŸ˜‚

I had GD, she was in the 93rd % for size by week 36 and they recommended induction at 39 weeks which I refused. Ended up getting a c section at 40+6 and she was 9lb.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet driving them mad?? It goes off 5/6 times night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off! Anyone had similar issues?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy
