Yes I have some on my ovaries. They aren’t complex enough to have removed. It’s corpus luteal, and a benign nabothian cyst that will likely just go away on their own eventually. They both only measure like 3-4cm. Still get cramps often and I have had them for years
they used to give me birth control but yes usually they go away on their own

I didn’t have any after birth, but did have them prior to. Most of them were small enough they weren’t a concern and the doctor said they would go away. I moved across the country not long after though and 6 months later one had grown to the size of a softball and twisted my ovary so that I had to have it surgically removed and almost went septic 😬 After that, the doctor wanted me to treat it with birth control but I could track everything back to birth control being the cause in the first place (which I’ve had a number of doctors and midwives agree with off the books) so felt led to go a different route. I took on a paleo diet instead - main things were cutting out gluten and dairy entirely, and foods with higher than 6g per serving. Haven’t had an issue since (that was 8 years ago), and I’d been dealing with the cysts through PCOS for close to a decade prior to that.
@ᴊᴇssɪᴄᴀ 🎗️ I'm sorry to hear what you went through. Thanks for sharing
@Q I appreciate that! After my experience it’s become very important to me to share about it because I never knew when I was younger the risks and complications that could come from what was doctor’s suggestion, and seeing the massive change that diet alone made in my body was mind blowing - I wish I’d known sooner it could be that simple!
@ᴊᴇssɪᴄᴀ 🎗️ Your so welcome I'm glad you was able to talk about it .As well as do what was best for your body.
I’ve had many ovarian cysts. Generally they will go away on their own or, if they get too large, will require surgical removal. As far as I know there’s not much you can do to make them go away.
