Rubbing Head or Rubbing face on what’s around
Has anyone had this experience with their LO? My son has been doing this since he was maybe 6 weeks old. It’s mainly when he’s sleeping. He rubs his profusely till he wakes. Most nights I have to grab his hands so he stays asleep. I don’t even let him sleep alone because he would just wake himself up. He’s now three months and I can’t swaddle him because he can roll.
You may be in the beginning of the 4 month sleep regression. When they have more advanced sleep stages..closer to adult sleep and they don't know how to transition from one stage to another. Thats when they wake up a lot and scratching is a sign of sleepiness. So the transition is hard on them. I guess you can rock them. Or pat them back to sleep.
