You can give baby baths after the cord falls off

My midwife said its up to parents when you give bath, however to promote better healing for cord its best to keep it dry and maybe wait till after cord has fallen off.

I used a warm flannel to give her a wipe over and she absolutely loved it, just didn’t go anywhere near her belly button x

First bath tonight at 16 days old. Wanted the scabbing to come off her belly button too. So nervous but excited for it too

Yes did this at 1 week old. Then because she blew out her nappy we did another bath time a few days later x
