Maternity allowance
Does anyone know if your documents are sent back to you after submitting a maternity allowance claim? I need to provide my baby’s birth certificate but would like it back for obvious reasons!

Your Matb1 doesn’t get sent back. So make a copy of that and keep. They only accept originals. I would call and double check about the birth cert. Just to be sure!
Your baby's birth certificate will be sent back for sure. But if you're unsure pay for a copy and send that instead. The copy is the same as the original it's just you have more than one. 😁
