Will a baby fall asleep if hungry?

My baby is 3 months and seems to be feeding less. I usually wake, feed on one side, play then feed on the other side until she falls asleep. But past few days she seems happy to feed on one side play and then falls asleep. I never know if I should wake her back up to feed? I’m guessing she wouldn’t fall asleep if she was hungry?

I imagine they wouldn't, babies are much more attune with their stomachs than adults are as they haven't been trained to eat/restrict. My little girl turned 12 weeks yesterdaya and today she has randomly started going 3.5 hours between feeds instead of 2.5-3 hours.
