Birthed Sunday was in asda by Wednesday shopping š
Wow! Impressive, Iām on day 6 and still in a lot of pain below. The thought of being outside worries me!
My daughter just turned a month today and I absolutely HAD to go to the next town over to go grocery shopping. I have two other kids and things were getting low and I canāt trust my husband to shop for what I need. Iām gonna do delivery next time if there is a next time. My daughter gets her shots in a week so Iām sure sheāll be okay to have some trips soon. I havenāt had pain down there since the day after birth I felt everything tooā¦except my leg bc the epidural only worked in my left leg. No stitches or tears so I was able to walk.
I went for a walk two days after she was born.
We walked to the playground with my toddler on day 3, pub on day 4, was back at playgroup and sensory classes and taking her to my workplace after a week š postpartum hits different when you have an older child! But I did have an uncomplicated home birth this time. I was in a lot more pain from the episiotomy with my first although we were out on day 3 as it was Christmas! But youāve got to listen to your body. I definitely shouldāve stayed home longer the first time.
2 days after he was born with my first, the next day with my second, maybe around a week with my 3rd
I went for a short walk a few days after the birth. But during her pediatric appointments, my husband and I grab a quick brunch/lunch out and do some grocery shopping. I do have a limit as to how much I walk around because things start getting uncomfortable and I immediately regret it. Days Iām at home I do the bare minimum and lay down for the most part. Iām currently 3.5weeks pp and I started bleeding again 2days ago šµāš«
Day 4, we spent the first 3 days in hospital I was going stir crazy! Midwife came round we said about our plans to walk to the shop (10min walk if that) and she wasn't convinced it was a good idea. On day 8 we were at a baby group. We are now day 14 and I feel like I am paying for it so going to take it a bit more easy!
The next day š
Doctors won't tell you this and everyone acts like it's such an accomplishment to be out and about next day. But it's actually bad for you. It's important to stay on your bed and rest for a week at least, 10 days is better. Your body went through a lot and you have a wound inside your uterus, it's very important for your healing to take it extremely easy for a while. This is why so many women have issues with bleeding and pelvic floor problems
Day 3 short walk to start with x
Day 15 for us (after C-section). We went to a restaurant, after a doctors appointment. I was in exhausted afterwards tho. Did this happen to anyone else? Today is day 18, planning on a target run. š¤
Got home from hospital day 4 and I would say I went for a short and slow walk around the hood the day after. Then on day 6 we had to go to the medical check. We are w4 now and we donāt go out much, walks around the hood if he doesnāt cry when I put him on the pram, the weekly nurse appointment, and some other quick errands. He hates the car seat, which limits our movements a lot!
I had a C Section on the Friday was doing a small food shop the Monday x

My girl is 6 weeks today and Iāve been nowhere except the hospital and to doctors appointments with her as she was a NICU baby and I donāt want her around anyone š
I think I first ventured out to register her birth which was around day 12, I had a C-section though and was in a bad way lmao. Day 15 we went for our first proper outing for lunch. Day 19 we went for a full day out.x
After I had my son we stayed in the NICU for the first 9 days of his life, day 10 was his first ped appt. but those entire 9 days I never left the hospital
Everday to visit her in the NICU. Once she got out, it was about 2 weeks, and we started mall walking (we lived in Minnesota, it was winter and too freezing for outside)
Day 6 but only because I was in hospital till day 5 x
Was at my friends house who has 2 toddlers 2 days after birth :) I was going stir crazy in the house. Yes it hurt a lot as I had nearly 30 stitches but felt so much better in myself
Day 4 for us too x
1 week later, and It was to church
