I’m experiencing this too and today at weigh in clinic they have now suggested it could be being caused by a milk allergy? Unsure if the same for every baby suffering with reflux as he also doesn’t often open his bowels and is very wheezy after milk as well as so sick. He’s just suffered ever since he was born, it’s just horrible 😭

@Paige hi my little girl has suspected cows milk protein allergy she’s on a formula for it but reflux seems to be still a problem for her. She’s been like this since she was born it’s a tough road

That’s very interesting that even being on special formula she is still suffering. I was breastfeeding but just recently introduced formula but he’s still sick regardless.

@Paige I thought it would have helped doctor seems happy that she taken her bottles still and gaining weight. I’m at the start of weaning journey people say that’s helps but I don’t know if it after a while but doesn’t seem to be helping at the moment.

That’s it. We are having no problems with weight gain but he’s just dropped on the centile line. I really hope things start to get better certainly seems like a slow process though xxx

@Paige my girl is the same dropped a little on centile line. Her reflux isn’t as bad now as it was in early weeks still spits up after every bottle doesn’t seem to bother her but be just nice to see her able to drink a bottle no reflux and soaked clothes after it. Hopefully it will settle its self soon. We didn’t want to medicate her if we didn’t have too as heard sometimes it can get worse on medication before it better x

That’s it always soaked clothes after a feed and also bedding too at night. Yeah we have tried medications but they didn’t work for us as it was half an hour before a feed and he would wake different times in the morning and would scream while trying to take to the medicine. Hopefully it’s something they will grow out of in time 🤞

@Paige I hope it is a thing she grows out of now. I’m a first time mammy I know it was going to be hard but not this hard I’m constantly worried about her ishe’s had a tough time with reflux and the cows milk allergy xx

I am also a first time mum to and I didn’t realise it was going to be as hard as it has been, sometimes we can’t even leave the house without 5 outfit changes 😭 xxx

@Paige we go through so many bibs and muslin clothes. We were the doctor last week and I asked when will the reflux get better she said she would expect it to start to improve now as she 4.5 months when she’s sitting up more it should start to settle but it I’m still waiting to see any improvement x

That’s what they keep telling me!! I won’t get my hopes up then, I really hope it gets better for you and your little girl xx

@Paige thank you fingers crossed it improves over time. I guess we just have to wait it out at this stage. I hope it gets better for use too xx

Yes I really hope so. Thank you xx
