We have had a blood test for that at 10 weeks, with results in 5 days. Booked with NorthSurey Midwifes - amazing service they come to you to take the blood sample as well.
Did ours at WWW too at 11 weeks
We did a blood test for gender about 8 weeks, it was great! Used a company called SneakPeek who are available through quite a lot of clinics around the country. Got the gender results within the week, and as it’s based on the chromosomes it basically can’t be wrong. Fully recommend if you want to know early!
We done this around 11 weeks and didn’t regret it! Had the bloods done with WTTW on the Tuesday and found out results on the Saturday. Gender confirmed correct at our scan last week too xx
NIPT is much much more accurate than the likes of sneak peek and other similar brands. It’s done as standard at 10 weeks in the US I believe x
I did it at around 13W and very happy - the accuracy of the screening is much higher than NHS and the results came back in a couple of days. Would definitely recommend!
For those that have used WTTW for NIPT, Did the gender result and the test results come in one email? I want to know the test results asap but want to wait for the gender result so I was hoping they can either tell me the test result but not gender over the phone, or send 2 separate emails as I don’t want to read the gender via email that day x
@Nikki Mine came in one email xx
Same email but I got 2 attachments, one clearly for gender so I could choose when to open it
I did at 11 weeks - no regrets! Especially because my NHS scan was booked at 13 weeks, and i was desperate to learn if everything is ok sooner rather than later. Also, with NHS, chromosome abnormalities test results will come 2-3weeks later, and NIPT is more sensitive than what NHS does.
