Are drafts bad for the baby?

It's hot in the UK currently and boiling in my room. I have all the windows open however even if I shut the curtains I can feel a draft on my back and baby is the other side of me which is basically the other side of the room so not next to the window. If I shut the windows, we will cook. Is a bit of a draft bad for the baby?

I'd say a draft is better then being silly hot. Our baby is right by the window and we have the fan on and the windows wide open. She's going through a sleep regression at the moment anyways. But it's just settle and sleep for 45 minutes. Settle then sleep for 45 minutes. If I didn't have the fan on and the windows open the room would be at least 3c higher and it's currently 25c in my bedroom even with the nice cool night air coming in

Having windows open is good for babies

Our gro egg says 26 degrees in our room with the window open and a fan circulating. We’ve been doing that and dressing her in a long sleeve vest and a cellular blanket tucked at her waist which seems to be just enough for her without her arms and feet getting too cold as well.

It’s better to be cooler than overheating.
