It’s abit silly that you have to be on benefits though , being penalised for working , that means you can’t get an extra bit of help 😔, I’m not sure how it works if you get accepted it obviously as I got declined it but could be the same either way x
My text when I got it said an award has been made and will be in my account in 3-5 working days, and that I would have a letter with more information in the next 5 working days
@chanise Pritchard I agree! I’ve only recently started UC but its infuriating that you get no help when you’re working x

That could be why you’ve been declined it because a couple of people said that to me if you haven’t received a payment yet or have only had one or two payments they may not award it you and I also applied before my baby was born , so I’ve just recently tried applying again and am waiting on a decision x
@Siobhan how long after sending off your application did you get this?
@chanise Pritchard aw no 😩 Thankyou for getting back to me! I do receive universal credit. I believe you have to be on benefits to get it but I’ve got a feeling it’s been declined with that text x
