Colostrum for c section
Hey guys, I have a planned c section for Monday as my baby is breech. How many syringes of colostrum would you recommend taking to the hospital? I have 8 x 1ml syringes but unsure on whether to take them all or not as wouldn’t want them to go to waste if not used.

I'd take as much as possible but check if they have storage facility so it doesn't go to waste Xx

I took 4 syringes in last time and was a good thing as baby in NICU and I was extended recovery so didn’t see her for 8 hours. But that was enough - I could express more in recovery and it’s good to keep some at home too for if you are having a tricky time with latch etc to tide you over whilst you seek support.
