I have my first appointment with my doctor to talk about IVF in October. I'm super excited after 3 failed IUI attempts. My plan was to wait until the middle of next year, but I'll be 35 in January and I don't want to wait any longer.
@Marina fingers crossed for you!!! I feel the same way. I will be 35 in december and I do not want to wait as well. Depending on when my period starts, im looking at end of october/mid november for retrieval and transfer
Go to your transfers as relaxed as possible. Our first two transfers we went to rushing and stressed. Our last transfer we stayed overnight in hotel (the ivf hospital was 2 hours away from we live) we had a nice meal and a few drinks too, extra time walking to the transfer appt. We now have a very cheeky 5yo boy. And I was 41 when I gave birth. 🤞for anyone going thru ivf🤞
This will also be our first IVF round. I am picking up my medication today to start on cd1. I have PCOS so my period may or may not come next week or the week after, but hopefully next week as well. We are 5 years TTC with PCOS and hibby has low volume and motility but excellent sperm count. 1 miscarriage from a previous relationship over 14 years ago. I was told to take a prenatal with folic, calcium and vitamin d. So will also be purchasing that as well. Good luck to you!!!
