High chair recommendations?

I want to get my 5mo comfortable with the high chair for when he starts solids but I am overwhelmed by the choices and not to mention, the prices! Can someone pls give me some recommendations of good quality but somewhat affordable high chairs that can transition for when they are older as well? The stokke ones are great ergonomically and can be converted through their development, but so damn expensive

The less frills, the better. I had a padded one that reclined. It was lovely. But damn it was difficult to clean. The IKEA one is fab, but only a 3 point harness. The Kmart one has a 5 point harness though.

We have the ikea one and it's gold. You can get an insert for when they're smaller. Our bub is 15 months now. It's so easy to clean too

I previously had a similar style to the Stokke Tripp Trapp and didn't love it. I have the below and love how versatile and multi use it is (Very easy to clean also) I have many Boori products and think the quality is pretty amazing... https://boori.com.au/products/byron-high-chair-v23?variant=43159335043250

The Kmart triptrapp knockoff is great! We have both the actual stokke one and the Kmart one and I can’t fault it!

Do you think the Kmart one is just as good as the Stokke?

We love our stokke clikk and catchy

@Erika I think it’s definitely a fantastic option! We’re really happy with it. If I had the extra cash that I had with my first I would have purchased another Stokke just to match but my friend who also had a Stokke for her first got the Kmart for her second and convinced me to do it too after using it at her place!

@Neah thanks for your reply. Would you say it is just as sturdy? It’s for a two year old

@Erika yeah, definitely! I switched our four year old onto the Kmart one and the baby is using the expensive one right now :) sorry for the slow replies, peanut doesn’t tell me you tagged me so I keep coming back to check 😂

We just use a booster seat (forgot the brand sorry!) so it's super portable. The best advice I got was get something without any fabric on it. My god does food and food juices go everywhere, you want something you can just wipe down easily
