Breastfeeding
I had my little one two days ago and he is struggling to breastfeed, due to being born at just 37 weeks and through c section .
Today he has been groggy and needs monitoring at the hospital due to low milk intake.
Anyone else experiencing this? As getting anxious

I've had 3 c sections and always topped up with formula at the beginning and not had any problems breastfeeding long term x Doing the same now with my 4 day old, it does hurt and take ages to feed but that's normal for me in the early stages.
He meds from the C-section can make babies groggy in the beginning. Prioritize latching baby on demand and work with a GOOD LC. Hand express and give to baby if that helps or a nipple shield can help as well
