Feeding advice

Baby is 16 weeks old. The last week she has been super grumpy and fussy. She’s also started fussing on her bottle. She’s not crying or squirming, just moves her head from side to side and flaps her arm. I take the bottle away and she screams because she wants it, so i give it back and she does the same thing. She’s so frantic that she drinks so fast, it makes her cough/choke. After a while she settles down and drinks normally. Any ideas?!

My 16 week old started doing the exact same, we were using mam bottles size 2 teats, moved up to size 3 as thought that was the issue but was even worse. we’ve now changed to lansinoh teats which luckily fit the mam bottles and his latch is so so much better and has stopped the squirming and throwing himself about and is much happier with them

Mines did this and we moved up to the next teat level and it stopped

I don’t think she needs a bigger teat size because she’s coughing on the size 2. I don’t know whats changed or what to do. She’s always been fine with her feeds

Does she need to feed in a different position? Is she too reclined? Does she want to sit up more? That's the only thing I can think of

Has she had signs of colic? Might have stomach pain just burp more often or try infacol maybe? It lines their stomach x

Mine is doing the exact same. I actually was going to come on here to ask about changing formula. Just become incredibly fussy with feeding, but at the same time is biting on his hand like mad and screaming when bottle gets takin away. Or doing the weird stretching his legs out stiff. What formula is your LO on? X

@Georgia no signs of colic. She doesn’t act like shes in pain at all.

@Liz shes on aptamil. What is yours on? X

I put him onto HIPP organic.. as he was always struggling with bowel movements. So went from c&g to that.. But not sure reading some posts whether it's a phase
