ADVICE PLEASE 🙏🏼
Hi all 👋🏼 this isn’t baby related whatsoever, more Mummy related 😂😫 but basically I have an ear infection and have been prescribed antibiotics (amoxicillin) I started taking them yesterday and my ear pain has gotten a lot worse 😫 just wondered if anyone else has experienced this? Does it mean the antibiotics are working or should I be worried/report back to my GP? TIA 💕

I'm going through an ear infection right now and I'm now on day 3 of amoxicillin. I've woken up with a much less painful ear today, but yeah it does take a few days to kick in. I feel for you because I know how painful it can be x

Antibiotics do take a couple of days to kick in. If it were me I’d take some painkillers in the short term and reassess in a couple of days. Calling 111 or 111 online can help without waiting to see your GP…obviously follow your instinct if you feel you need to see someone absolutely do that!
