For pumping moms, how much are you producing?

That sounds like a great supply!! I'm 5 days pp pumping 3 oz on both breast!

I’m 10 days pp and get maybe 1oz per pump session. Though I had a c section, no skin to skin or nursing for 4 days, and riding out a nicu stay so there’s added stress. I would kill for your output 😭

How do u clean ur pump ? I be so tired I pump like once or twice a day because cleaning the pump and sterilizing takes up so much time especially when she’s fussy

I'm 3 weeks pp, I pump about every 4 hours and get 2-2.5 oz each breast

I'll be 2 weeks postpartum tomorrow. During the day, I pump about every 3 hours because that's how often my baby is eating and I pump after she eats (her mouth is currently to small to nurse unfortunately). I was induced and had an emergency c-section, so that may have affected how long it took for my milk to finally come in. I think I get 1 oz from each side in the evenings, but I tend to get at least 2 oz from each side first thing in the morning. I'm not pumping at night and I pump for 20 minutes each time if that matters. I'm also dealing with a court case for paternity/custody, which has added a lot more stress and possibly decreased my supply.

@Jody the lactation consultant I met with yesterday said I only need to thoroughly clean my pump once a day. She said that I just need to dry it and store it in the fridge between uses. I'm not sure if that's specific to my pump, but I think it should be the case with most pumps.

@Jody you really don’t need to clean clean the pump after every use. I usually just rinse it with hot water and wash it in the evening Just putting it to dry on a towel and take the last remainders of water before the next pumping session

@Jody I clean mine immediately after pumping so by time the next pump it’ll be dry and ready to use and I use the microwave sterilized bag for 1 min in microwave

I believe that is normal I usually pump 2-4 ounces all together when I pump I am also 2 weeks postpartum

Im 2 weeks PP. I have been horrible with my pump schedule. I pump anywhere between 5-8 hours and get around 5-10 oz. I was producing more, but I'm slowly trying to dry up.

My first pump is usually 6-8 ounces then throughout the day it’s usually 2-4 ounces for both boobs combined..
