Time to move up

Hey guys, So my little boy was born a big baby (over 10lbs) and had always needed more milk as he’s bigger and such a starver. He’s been sleeping through since 3 months but the past few nights he’s been going down at 20:30 and waking up at 5:00 crying because he’s hungry. Should I move up to 9oz every 3 hours? This feels too much for an ‘average’ size baby but as mentioned he’s always been bigger than average. Anybody else’s baby on 9oz now?
