Question for breastfeeding mamas
Have any of you started using the contraception pill again since birth. I have been given conflicting advice from different doctors and online sources as to whether the combined pill is safe during breastfeeding, hoping to go back on it because it really helps with my PCOS symptoms x

My GP said no it’s not safe, however, the doctor in hospital said it was, and it says it is safe on the NHS website from six weeks post birth
My doctor told me I’d need a different one if breastfeeding. I remember with my first daughter I had to use a different one as well x

Not yet, but I think I was told that it couldn't contain estrogen? So combined pill shouldn't be safe. What did doctors said? I have my 6 week appointment on Thursday and need to decide my contraceptive method
