Foley balloon
I’m almost 39weeks and I am being induced due to GD. Got the balloon in today morning and had contractions 10 minutes apart for a bit then they spaced out and stopped. Going back in tomorrow to get the balloon removed and either wait or try out other measures. Either day, it’s baby time soon and so excited and nervous !! Just wanted to share that with you guys.
Update: just got my waters beokrn and will start pitocin soon

@Hailey not actually, the insertion was just uncomfortable and pretty quick. But yeah, I had mild to moderate contractions the whole day after that, which later spaced out. It honestly wasn’t as bad as all the horror stories I have reas.
Is the balloon the standard induction method or was it selected for a specific reason? I'm curious!
@Sandeep the balloon was selected as I had a heard cervix with not dialation.
