Weaning + Weightloss

Im 8 mo pp and switched to formula about a month ago and i’ve noticed i’ve been gaining quiet a bit of weight since stopping… mostly in my stomach but not so much in my arms or legs!? I’ve been trying to get into a calorie deficit but it’s been hard to get into it when i still feel like i have the ‘breastfeeding hunger’ all the time. I work out 3x a week pretty consistently. Anyone have any tips?

Working out can definitely make you feel hungry too because you are burning calories and your body wants to replace them. When you do eat meals or snacks try and look for protein dense foods to help feel more full throughout the day.

the breastfeeding hunger is so real!! instead of a full on calorie deficit i would focus on heavy protein and less carbs. i love an animal based diet with less processed food! and more cardio/pilates/core/full body workouts instead of heavy lifting days
