Deep core + Pelvic floor exercises

I'm currently 6weeks postpartum and hearing alot about core & pelvic floor exercises but lost on where to start with them. I don't know if I have diastasis but I know for a fact I have absolutely no core strength so wanting to gain that back. Could people recommend good exercise plans/YouTube videos that they found were very helpful and how often you would do them for pleaseee?!

Hi, pre/postnatal fitness trainer here đź‘‹! I'd highly recommend having a physical therapist check you for a diastasis. You can also look up a video to self check but a pt will be more accurate. As far as exercises, things like 360 breathing, bridges, and exercises for your transverse abdominals are what you'll want to focus on. You'll start small and work on them until you notice that you can properly manage the pressure (ie no coning, doming, leaking, or pelvic pain). I'm currently working on a postpartum wellness program that will walk you through checking for a diastasis, deep core exercises and then will include individualized fitness training, weekly check ins, dietitian and pelvic floor support, and a community of women going through the same thing. If interested you can fill out this survey https://forms.gle/CahzZRbASgD4y9ow6 Feel free to reach out with any questions!

I started using the every mother app! There is a week free trial it’s been super helpful!!! I tried the birth recovery with Nancy Anderson people love it but i prefer every mother over it so far- the core / PF work is 5 min and then can add optional workouts on

I recommend getting at least checked by pf pt for any prolapse, or other dysfunction first. I ho thru theoriginway.com They're covered by insurance too
