@GABRIELA 21 weeks. During first trimester I woke up.more
Same as me-21weeks! I was waking up 1st trimerst once. I dont wake up at all now and not worried about dehydration because i drink a lot during the day- so dont worry. Apparently we have good bladders - ‘for now’. Next trimester will be every 2hrs
This is normal! I drink so much water 2-3L a day easily. But can go most nights with not needing to get up at all or maybe just once or get to 5/6am. Sometimes I need to get up earlier if I drink too much just before bed (which sometimes I do as thirsty) so that can be a factor but would be even if not pregnant. As for pregnancy and peeing, this is more of a thing in the first trimester and usually comes back again in the third. First is because baby/uterus is still very low down when first starting to grow so it’s pressing right next to the bladder. But by second trimester the uterus is growing up into the abdomen and by 20 weeks is around belly button height. It releases that pressure against the bladder because there’s now more room for baby and growth in the belly. But then in the third trimester baby is bigger again and so not as much space and will be engaging low so pressure will be up against the bladder again. Though every woman will be different too.
I sleep 8-9 hours and don’t wake up at all, I’m flat out all night 😂 I think everyone’s different and I’m sure my time will come as I get further along!
How many weeks are you? I was waking up once during first trimester. Im on 2nd trimester and dont wale up at all during the night eventho i drink a lot of water. Had the same question for this group and midwife and apparently its okay. On the last trimester its when you wake up a lot more. Dont worry!
