Sleep nightmare

Recently my baby is struggling to sleep. Always been fed to sleep but recently finished bottle even if sleepy and boom wide awake either wanting to play or saying “in there” meaning our bed. He wakes in the night screaming and when you go in to settle he just repeats “in there” until you bring him in to our bed and then he’s flat out. If we dont go “in there” aka my bed he screams and cant be consoled. Can someone help with what an earths going on ☹️ its really really getting to me and we are TTC our 2nd but this is making me want to hold back.

Just to add, same drama with naps and results in us driving to get him asleep

My little one was exactly the same until we changed him to a floor bed in his own room. We can now go in and lie with him while he re settles, then we can roll away and go back to bed. We’re now down to 1 or 2 wakes where he easily settles bank to sleep! Got baby #2 due in December so I feel your worry about dealing with the wakes with another baby around x

One of us takes him in with his cup of milk and we sit by his bed while he settles. It can take 15 mins or so as he likes to mess about with his teddies and talk away 😅 but eventually he does lie down and sleep. At first we were lying down and pretending to sleep with him, as well as patting etc but we’ve managed to move a bit further away and get him down without touching him x
