Baby movements

Question might sound silly BUT! I'm 37weeks on Thursday and I was wondering is anyone experiencing baby movement are more like pushes rather then kicks 🤔 I do have an anterior placenta not sure if that anything to be concerned about? I feel alot more pushes and rolls on my left side.

i’m 39+2 and had the same! my midwife said it’s just baby stretching out most likely and not a cause for concern! x

Yes! It feels like mine gets his feet right up under my ribs and pushes down on my cervix, like let me out! Lol .. it's painful! Xx

@Hannah thank you I was worried it was reduced movement as its no longer kicks if that makes sense 🤔🙈 c

@Natalie yeah I get that quite often 🤣 x

2 days ago baby had a very quiet day, felt barely any movements, only few here and there and super subtle, so thought yesterday to monitor it and go get checked if no change. Huge change and baby had one of her most active days yesterday. I'm 37 weeks as well and still no idea as what is her pattern, I suppose when I look back at the whole picture it's quiet and busy days. She does what she does 🙌🏼☺️ Also anterior placenta so I never feel her in the middle. Most of pregnancy only lower left side and last few weeks that plus lower right and upper right.

36w tomorrow and the movements have changed from stomps to firm pushes! I think aslong as they are moving regularly as in there usual pattern you can be rest assured xx

@Gabi thank you thus has helped and yeah that's how my baby goes sometimes now it's near the end I'm a worrier of stillborn!!

@Elizabeth thank you this has helped me he has a regular pattern but even sometimes he's not as active but has hiccups loads x

Incognito: If there is issue with placenta which is the main cause of stillborn, there are other symptoms not just reduce movements, but mainly excrutiating pain on your tum and bleeding/fresh blood spotting. So don't worry Xx

I’m 37 weeks tomorrow too and baby’s movements are exactly like this…as if they’re stretching from one side to another or pushing their back/bum up against my ribs!

@Gabi thank you that puts my mind at ease 😌

@Rachel glad I'm not alone as I see it as he's gone quite type of thing 🙈 x
