Nursery drop off

It’s my 3 year olds first week at his new nursery and he is absolutely hysterical going in every morning 😖. He used to go to a nursery a few days a week before the summer holiday and even after being at that one for a year he would still cry so much at drop off. Is this normal? The staff assure me has a great time and settles quick and I do believe them as the old nursery said the same and he comes out at the end of the day so happy. I feel so guilty sending him in when he’s that upset but I’m starting a new job during nursery hours next week and I’m super stressed the staff are going to have enough of him kicking off at drop off and he won’t be able to go anymore 😞. Has anyone else experienced this?
