Reflux symptoms only during the day
Our 7 week old has reflux symptoms, sick after most feeds (not projectile), unsettled around 10 mins after feeds. We have to hold her upright after feeds. Poos are normal and don’t have mucus/blood in them. Generally seems like an unsettled baby, when she’s awake she’s normally fussing or feeding, there’s the odd moment she’s content during the day but it doesn’t last long.
However weirdly at night she is absolutely fine, during cluster feeding in the evenings she is still sicking up but as soon as it gets to like 10am she lets us put her down to bed, will sleep for 2-3 hour stretches and is rarely sick/uncomfortable in the night…. When we look up reflux it seems common that it is worse at night…
Could this be something else that we’re missing and passing off as reflux?

I could have written this myself about our almost 6 week old!
It may well not be reflux but just a developmental period. She’s learning lots and it does make them cranky and want to feed a lot which would make her sick more in the day. If she’s sleeping well at night it’s unlikely (but not impossible) to be reflux related as when she lies down that would exacerbate her symptoms as milk would naturally reflux from her stomach up her oesophagus x
I would have put it down to development but she’s been like this since birth really! 🫣
