Vaginal cyst
Hello, checked down there and my episiotomy scar is healing nicely but noticed a pea sized like pimple at the opening by the scar and think it’s a cyst. Booked GP appt for it to be looked at but wondered if any of you had it and if so what treatment did you have?

I had a vaginal cyst/abscess years ago and I got given antibiotics for it. As soon as I took the first pill it exploded x

If it’s a Bartholin’s cyst, or probably any cyst, you don’t have to do anything. It usually goes away on its own. Sometimes it sticks around for a longer time. You can do sitz baths if you want. Unless it develops into an abscess no treatment is necessary but see what the GP thinks.
